Circle1stGen App now acting like new and asks for passcode? I need a passcode

I have a subscription and it was working before. Now all of a sudden my Circle 1st gen app acts like it is new and needs to be setup. I click on "TEXT ME" for passcode and I get nothing!!!  Where do I get passcode and why am I being asked for it all of a sudden?
