circle 1st gen giving me internet may not be available error when trying to setup

Our home internet just went live for fiber optics and I can't get my 1st gen circle to setup back to my phone.  When I go through the steps to set it up it the circle wifi shows up but when I connect it shows the circle wifi "internet may not be available" and I can't go any farther. New router is a calix gigasphere.

Have you had a moment to check to see if your calix router is compatible with Circle?
