wifi channel R7000p Nighthawk
Hi, I set up the Netgear Nighthawk router connected by ethernet cable to our main router. The Netgear has Circle installed on by default and I use this to limit what my son can view on his Smart TV. Recently there have been problems getting a good signal and laoding apps. for e.g. Netflix etc and TV on demand channels.
In looking at channels for the router/s I notice that the main router is on Channel 1 whilst the Netgear router is on Channel 9. Is this part of the problem ? i.e. should they both be on same Channel or should they be on different channels.
Thinking I missed something or messed up when setting up.
Thanks for advice and/or suggestions

It could be a conflict of both the routers being in router mode. You would want to run one as the main router and set the other to AP mode.
