Auto updating the application - how?
I have build an application to run on ReadyNAS 312. I go to "app" tab and upload my application (that is a debian package). Everything works perfectly. In my application, I keep pinging my remote webserver periodically to find if a new package version is available of my app. Suppose if my webserver reported a new version of the app, then I want to upgrade it to the new version.
How can I do that? Because to upgrade/install/uninstall everything happens through manual "uploading" the debian package. If I can somehow trigger the same action that happens on upload, then I can achieve that. Any clue?
