Readyanas 516 6.8.0 Plex gone after update

Hi all,

I have a readynas 516 with firmware 6.8.0 and had Plex working for many years. But today I got a message that there was a update for plex. I did the update, and now Plex is gone and I'm not able to install it again. Anybody know why?

Have you tried checking https://www.plex.tv/downloads/ and see if they have a newly released app for 6.8.0?

I cant any information regarding netgear os versions on plex's website. Can you?

Yes there is. You need to select the manufacture or vendor first which is Netgear then select ReadyNAS OS6 then if it is ARM or x86.

Also note that there is at least one known issue (there are at least two other threads on this) with applying app updates in 6.8.0, and perhaps PLEX was affected by this. After seeing report of the issue in 6.8.0, I've held off upgrading until 6.8.1 is confirmed to resolve this. Even the 6.8.1 beta 1 notes say it "partially" fixed this issue. Fun.
