Xplorer - aka Ajaxplorer

XPLORER

    • Description: Xplorer is a powerfull explorer based on Ajax.
AjaXplorer is an easy-to-install file explorer for remotely managing files on a web server. Its “rich client” layout and actions make it accessible to any end-user for a variety of purposes: file management/sharing, photo gallery, code browsing, etc. Only PHP (4 or 5) is necessary, no database needed.

    • Requirements: RAIDiator 4.2.3+ and PHP add-on or PHP-GD add-on (better but you will loose squeezecenter support)

  • Platform: x86

  • Current Version: 5.2
Xplorer 5.0 (Ajaxplorer 4.0.0) (file size limit set to 9Giga)
Xplorer 5.1 (Ajaxplorer 4.2.0) (07/20/12) (file size limit set to 9Giga)
Xplorer 5.2 (Ajaxplorer 4.2.3) (11/15/12) (file size limit set to 9Giga)

    • based on ajaxplorer 3.2.2 :
      see : Release Note

      • [gui.mobile] iPhone adaptation : touch events, display optimization, and much more. Small changes in initTemplates (backward compatible) to support scripts & css insertion.

        NEW PLUGINS :

      • [log.sql] Stores all ajaxplorer logs in a DB instead of files
      • [editor.codemirror] New source viewer with inline syntax highlighting, replaces CodePress.
      • [Access.smb] & [auth.smb] Browse a samba server (based on smbclient commandline tool).
      • [editor.video] Video-js integration (better support of mp4, ogv and webm formats)

        EXTERNAL BRIDGES:

      • [Wordpress] Important Security Update! Upgrade is highly recommanded.
      • [Joomla] New version of the plugin, compatible with Joomla! 1.6

        PLUGINS FIXES:

      • [conf.sql] Add a USERS_DIRPATH option for storing the temporary data, instead of hardcoding /server/users
      • [auth.ldap] LDAP Remur patches
      • [uploader.jumploader] Was broken in 3.2
      • [uploader.html] Calling form.reset() was breaking the upload options after adding a file to the list… Use xhr.onreadystatechange instead of xhr.upload.onload , seems to be better supported by Chrome (fixes the « loaded » state)
      • [access.fs] Fix various issues with recursivity and file/dir choice. Chmod value was not correctly applied.
      • [access.ftp] FTP Upload broken
      • [access.sql] SQL Pagination broken

        MISC FIXES:

      • Disable « Share Folder » if the Auth driver implementation cannot edit the users.
      • Fix location bar autocompleter : clicking on a choice does not trigger the context to change.
      • i18n : Force replacing the newline (double antislah) to be sure the language will dynamically reload.
      • Declare skipSecureToken in action. Warning, action must be declared directly inside manifest.xml, not in inclusions.
      • Woodruff enhancements : users custom data (sample commented in conf file), and « full » list modes for displaying grid contents on multiple lines.
      • Warning on filename truncation at upload
      • Always stripScripts() in message
      • Ajxp link was broken if users not enabled
      • Fix disappearing favicon in FF after updating location.hash

      3.0.3

    • Next addon version will preserve your settings 🙂

    • New Plugins

        • Meta.svn : Replaces access.remote_svn and access.svn. Based on the presence of the svn command in the command line and to be used with a working copy. Auto-commit files on add/move/delete, etc, and display SNV Log.

        • Dynamic FTP proxy server & FTP authentication : several people asked for it, here it is! Use an ftp credential to log your users in, or even transform AjaXplorer into a « blank » ftp proxy, and users must fill the FTP server data at login time.

        • Meta.Exif : Simple Exif data reader, based on PHP exif functions. Can be used conjunctly with editor.openlayer (cf below).

        • editor.openlayer : OpenLayers.org map system, can display any layers, like Google Maps or OpenStreeMaps, or WMS layers. Used by meta.exif if geolocation found in exif data (see demo!)

      • WebDAV driver, based on fsDriver+PEAR WebDAV Client (Jejem work).

      3.0.1

    • AjaXplorer 3.0.1 is mainly a bugfix release of the 3.0, but also introducing a new feature, the Repository Delegation : previously, users could share a file with the world by generating a public link, now they can share a whole folder by creating on-the-fly a sub-repository of their own and associate a temporary user that will have access to this repository only. Some tools were developped to help managing these new « Shared Elements » (files and folders).

    • New interface

    • On the GUI-side : the components are totally independant, allowing to deeply customize the gui. Widgetization is now possible (insertion in another page), theme folder implementation, massive css and images cleaning, editors concept generalization and more editors samples (audio, video, pdf, html, pixlr, etc), HTML5 Upload support by drag’n'drop, Jumploader implementation, Flash uploader better error display. And many more!

    • Full rewriting of the plugins engine and the core server controller. Ability to add pre/post processors to any action, security enhancements (added AJXP_EXEC constant check, empty index.html wherever possible), more customizations possible (add new supported mime types, set manually a temporary folder, etc).

    • Longly awaited metadata implementation : including simple text, color label and five-stars rating system, simple software update check system, and many more!

      2.6.2

    • Minor version, still enhancing the security, fixing non-flash upload for FTP plugin, and fixing the auth.remote plugin
      2.7.2

  • the 2.72 fixes a great number of bugs, improves layouts on many way, introduce the PDF viewer via ImageMagick, etc

  • What's new :

      • Security Fix

    • you can now access it using https://@nasip/explorer/

        • NEW FEATURES :

            • Added « Compress » action to create a zip on the server

            • Implement natural sorting

            • Massive unification of the GUI between the flash uploader and the html uploader. [Prototypization of MultipleUplaoder and MultipleDownloader]

            • Layout persistance across sessions : diaporama behaviour, splitters sizes, display state (list or thumb) and thumb size.

            • Auto rename files to allow same folder copy.

            • Added sorting for users and repositories listing. Sorted repository list in interface.

          • Added Troubleshooting.txt, base for very basic problems, to update regularly
