apt-get update can't resolve any of the package archives - any suggestions?

Thanks, chirpa. You hit it right on the head. Apparently it didn't like the gateway or dns I picked off the Uverse router. I reset it t o DHCP and it works fine now. As a side benefit?, I was buried in emails from the Duo. Again, many thanks.
