ssh authorized_keysssh authorized_keys

I've got my ssh authorized_keys working for root but I would like to setup a key for another user so i created an authorized_keys file in the users &HOME/.ssh/authorized_keys but it doesn't work. When I try to ssh in as the user it asks me for a password, so it doesn't seem to be reading the users authorized_keys file.

Any ideas?

Re: ssh authorized_keysssh authorized_keys

What does /etc/ssh/sshd_config say about the authorized keys file?
It might be possible that this is not set correctly.
Also check permissions for the authorized_keys file. I've got 700 for the .ssh directory and 400 for the authorized_keys file itself.
