Disks compatibility for ReadyNas v2100
Hi,
I have a NAS model ReadyNAS 2100 - (S/N: v22KU326R80001A) and need to chance one of the hard disks.
the problem is that all those that appear in the compatibility list are too old and the stores do not have stock. Is there a current model that is compatible?
Thanks

Re: Disks compatibility for ReadyNas v2100
Hi @alisys!
ReadyNAS 2100 is already EOL and that might be the best reason why the list is not updated for this model.
If you are just replacing a disk with same capacity newer models shouldn't cause any problem. However, using drives that are not listed on HCL is not recommended/supported. The drives may work or may not work too since those are not tested and not marked as compatible so you will be using it at your own risk.
If you are planning to expand your volume there will be limitations on the expansion.
Hope this helps!
Regards
