Ac1600 D6400 adsl/vdsl connection issue

Hi,

I bought albeit a second hand 6400 a coupld of weeks ago while I was on Adsl with a view to upgrading to vdsl. It worked fine on Adsl.

Come time to change the modem would not connect to the vdsl, I ended up reseting it multiple times and upgrading to the latest firmware with no change in outcome. After 3 days with out net, i caved and bought myself a new Netgear adsl/vdsl router and it plugged in straight away. Would you have any ideas why the original one is a brick?

Perhaps that is why the seller unloaded the thing.

Apart from that, you haven't told us anything beyond "it doesn't work", so it is anybody's guess as to why that it the case.
