Add D6300 into existing network to provide additional wireless and/or hardwire access in dead zone
I have a spare D6300 that I would like to connect into my existing network somewhere to act as a device to provide additional wireless and/or hardwire connectivity out in the back of my property which currently is a dead spot for the existing wireless access. I have a R7800 as my primary router. I cannot see/access the wireless to this device from the back of my property. I also have another D6300 set up in bridge mode to the R7800 with several hardwired devices attached. This is in a room next to the dead spot at the back of the property and has no issues connecting to the R7800. Can the spare D6300 somehow be purposed to provide at a minimum wireless connectivity if not also hardwire connectivity in the current dead spot at the back of my property? If so how? Can I connect the spare D6300 to the existing bridged D6300? Or can the existing bridged D6300 also be configured to be both a bridge and repeater? Hopefully that all makes sense? TIA, Regards, -Dave

How do you want these devices to talk to each other, wired or wireless?
In other words, is the idea to make the second D6300 an access point or a repeater?
An access point will work.
There is a manual for the D6300 somewhere at the end of this link:
>>> D6300 | Product | Support | NETGEAR <<<
See page 99.
