CANNOT UPDATE DGN2200

Hi all

I have tried to update the firmaware from 1.0.0.36 to 1.0.0.50.

If i do that throught the router it said Unknow error (-1).

If i download the chk file from the site and i try to install it say "firmware update failed".

I have tried also to reset all and install but nothing... same results.

Suggestions?

You can try to update the firmware Via TFTP here is a article on how to do that. Let me know if that works or not.

it does not work.

I have tried with a PC with Windows 10 next with windows 7 but it seem that the software cannot speak with the router.

Other suggestions?

I do have another suggestion if you have the router set to a different language try setting the router to English then trying to update the Firmware I have heard of some strange issues with language settings. If this is not working you may want to contact Netgear support to see if there is a issue with the router.

Try using the Link I provided that has the Firmware for all Regions you may of been downloading the North American version

you may then want to contact netgear support phone if its still under warranty if you have tried all the methods to update the modem.
