D7000 Wifi isolation

Hi,

Just installed the D7000, but it seem to have an issues with WIFI isolation, can detect any network device if attached to the D7000 wifi, whereas it is fine with LAN (all network device can be seen), and also another AP point in the house (all network device can be seen). I tried using just the D7000 wifi already and turning off the other AP, but does not make any difference. The intend was to use the D7000 Wifi only and get rid of the other AP in the house.

I cant seem to be able to find the setting to turn wifi isolation off.

Any help.

Re: D7000 Wifi isolation

There should not be any isolation for the main Wi-Fi networks on the D7000.  There is an option to enable isolation on the guest networks.  If you go to the guest network settings on the router, it's called Allow guests to see each other and access my local network.

Re: D7000 Wifi isolation

Yep, I am aware that guess network has the isolation options, but it seem like my main wifi network has wifi isolation on, as I can't see any other attached clients on wifi, whereas Physical LAN is fine via the D7000.

Cheers,

Re: D7000 Wifi isolation

Try doing a factory reset.  It might undo whatever weird state the router is in.
