Please test your hardware and software better.
First issue: The latest firmware adds a problem with pausing connectivity for ten seconds frequently but semi randomly (you can run a continuous ping (ping -t) and see this clearly) although there were unconfirmed reports of this being related to iphones on the network, I seem to see the problem regardless of it (my housemate does have an Iphone).
Second issue: if you select (it's selected by default which is why this is such a problem) "Enable 20/40MHz Coexistence" then you can no longer connect to the 2.4GHz network, and if your 5GHz share the same SSID the whole thing is unconnectable. Guest networks share the same fault if enabled.
