D7800 nighthawk not recognising seagate expansion desktop drive 3TB
Hi,
My d7800 nighthawk is not recognising my seagate expansion desktop drive 3TB, but does recognise a WD passport drive so I know that the USB1 is working.
According to this netgear website, the seagate 3TB is supported, so should work. It has been reformatted to exFAT as from what I have read this is best for large files and supports both MAC and windows.
Any advice gratefully received.

"I have read" where, exactly? You might try reading this:

The router supports the following file system types for full
read/write access:

What's the file system on that disk? (I'd guess not exFAT.)
