D7800 operating at 20Mhz
How can I get the X4S D7800 to operate at 40Mhz on 2.4 instead of 20???

- Make sure the speed mode is set to Up to 800 Mbps in Wireless Settings.
- Disable Enable 20/40 MHz Coexistence under Advanced Wireless Settings.
This doesn't guarantee that 40 MHz channel widths will be used. Devices also must agree to use it, as well. Apple devices never use 40 MHz on 2.4 GHz. Most other devices won't use it if other Wi-Fi networks are nearby and active.
