DGN1000 disconnects all devices after some time
I have a 3 year old Netgear DGN1000 router.
I am able to connect all my devices to the router, but after a few minutes of browsing, the router stops working. First the sites stop opening, except for google (and google related site like youtube, G+ etc), then the devices start disconnecting from the router.
The router shows all the proper lights green, as required, but still cannot connect.
On trying to reconnect, every device fails to connect and keeps asking for the security key. Even after entering the security key, connection fails.
I tried to upgrade the firmware(a minor update is available), automatically and manually. Both of which does nothing except disable the wireless antenna until I restart the router physically.
Is it time to buy a new router or there is still hope ?
