My old ATT westec modum works fine, sometimes.
I have reset that modem successfully with my ATT DSL credentials today.
The set up process of my DM111PSPv2 modem will stop at saying my "email and password has been rejected".
All the lights are on except that the internet light #4 remains red in color.
What is preventing my valid credentials from being accepted by this new router?

I found by trial and error, that the New modem needed to be reset. It then worked fine.
Netgear agent tried to tell me I had to get permission for the new mac address. Way off base she was.
