How to install Driver for dgnd3700v2 on a clean Windows10 without internet access

We've put together a new computer with both an SSD and a HDD.
Windows10 was installed via USB stick onto the Kingston SSD. The HDD is a Seagate IronWolf. The OS doesn't even see any networks avaliable, nor does it recognize the Analog Speakers. I can only assume that it didn't come with the correct firmware. Since this computer doesn't have internet, I'll need to download the files on my Laptop and upload them to a USB stick.
I thought this firmware was Version 1.1.00.26 https://www.netgear.com/support/product/DGND3700v2#download as shown here. But after extracting the Zipped file, an error message appeared saying that the 'image' was corrupted. We also installed the 'NETGEAR Genie App' but it didn't help. We've made sure that the Ethernet cable between the modem and PC was secure.
Version 1.1.00.26 and the 'NETGEAR Genie App' was downloaded on a computer with Windows8 and another which had Ubuntu Linux. It didn't seem to make any difference.
Looking in the 'Device Manager', under 'Network Adapters' the following Adapters are installed:
Realtek PCIe GBE family controller
WAN miniport IKEv2
WAN miniport IP
WAN miniport IPv6
WAN miniport L2TP
WAN miniport Monitor Network
WAN miniport PPPOE
WAN miniport PPTP
WAN miniport SSTP
The 'Troubleshoot problems' via the 'Network & Sharing Center', identified the problem as:
"Ethernet" doesn't have a valid IP configuration.

"firmware"? To me, that sounds as if you need some Windows device
drivers for "the Analog Speakers" (whatever thay might be). I don't
know where you're looking for "any networks avaliable".

I'd stick with the web-browser interface to the DGND3700v2. You
don't need more confusing software.

What, exactly, was "the Zipped file"? I see two versions, one "for
North America", and one "for all regions except North America". Around
here, both look good:

2 archives were successfully processed.
I'd try the download again. If your zip archive got truncated, then
you can expect to get an error like "corrupted".

I assume that means an Ethernet cable from the PC to a LAN port on
the DGND3700v2. Do the LED indicators at each end indicate a good
connection?

Have you configured the Ethernet ("Realtek PCIe GBE family
controller") interface in Windows?
You seem to need more knowledge about configuring a network interface
in Windows. Updating the firmware in your DGND3700v2 may be a good
idea, but it's not your first task.

You've provided, like, little to no useful information, and answered,
like, none of my questions. Like, at all.
You might do better looking for some local help, rather than asking
how to configure your Windows network hardware in a Netgear forum.

Re: How to install Driver for dgnd3700v2 on a clean Windows10 without internet access
For future reference, and to avoid anyone landing here after reading the subject, routers do not need drivers in Windows.
Windows needs drivers for Ethernet hardware and wifi hardware, not for routers.
If Windows pops up errors for your network stuff, look first for answers within Windows. There are times when your network's configuration may need poking around in the router's settings, but that will probably throw up a different type of error.
That turned out to be the answer to this problem.

Its would be good to leave this thread here, for those with the same problem.
Thinking it has something to do with their NETGEAR.

Re: How to install Driver for dgnd3700v2 on a clean Windows10 without internet access
Absolutely. "Where are my drivers" comes up from time to time. As you have marked it as Solved it will stay around and will show up in searches if people bother to try that before they dive in.
