How to turn off broadcasting for FVS318v3?
We recently had a fiber connection run to our office with a single static IP and /31 subnet. When we try to re-program the router, recieve an error messsage stating the IP address is a broadcast address in the 254 subnet. Cannot find anything in the firewall software that allows us to turn off broadcasting (which we don't need since we have a single static IP). Help?!

Re: How to turn off broadcasting for FVS318v3?
The router probably doesn't have support for /31 subnets (see RFC 3021). You can try configuring your side as a /30 subnet. This may not necessarily work. If the host bits in the IP address to your ISP's router are zero, then the Netgear may balk. Try using a shorter subnet mask until you get some non-zero host bits.
