Limiting bandwidth usage by device?
Is there a way to limit bandwidth per user or device? I have two devices using available 2 gigs DSL bandwidth, one hard wired and the other using wi-fi.
I can be using the bandwidth via hardwire, yet when my wife starts using the internet through her laptop, she hijack's 90% of available bandwidth.
Access control only gives on or off device settings. Is there any way to limit bandwidth per device?

Welcome to the community, @Mark97213
There's no option on our routers to specify the bandwidth.
However, you may use QoS to set priority.
By the way, what's the exact model number of your NETGEAR device?

Re: Limiting bandwidth usage by device?
The model of my router states "D7000" not R.
