Link DGND4000 to my D6300 network.

I have a D6300 using a BT internet connection. This is all working well (wired & wireless).

I now want to connect my DGND4000 that I have in my home office connected via 2 netgear powerline adaptors.

I don't need the modem in the DGND4000.

I don't mind having separate wireless ID's, as I don't want to reduce the security from WEP2.

How do I set-up the DGND4000 as an expensive switch? I just want the unit to use the D6300 as a master unit.

How do I link the hardware (do I use the cable/fiber input?) and what software setting do I need to change.

I'm sorry if this seems very simple, but I could do with some help as I'm relatively new to setting up multiple network zones.

Thanks in advance for any help.

You can ONLY use ethernet to do secure extension UNLESS you buy extender ex. wn2500rp.

You already know you can not secure with WPA2 with repeating wirelessly between two devices
