Netgear D6400 Modem/Router connect but no internet (Centurylink)
For the last past month I've been trying to get this modem/router up and running with no success. I called netgear over a handful of times with no solution and even spoke with centurylink which wouldn't help me because it's not one of their modems. I had a centurylink actiontec c1900a that bit the dust and I'm in diar need of assistances from someone. Just trying to see what all credentials I need to get this thing up and running. I have also tried the netgear genie and still nothing. Thanks in advance for whatever help y'all can give me!

Think, for a moment, about how little useful information that
non-description conveys to the non-psychics in your audience. As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.
What type/level of service from CenturyLink?
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Read. Aside from the basic
set-up instructions, look for the LED descriptions and "Troubleshoot".
If we're talking about a DSL connection, then potential sources of
useful information include the LEDs (especially "DSL"), and, on the
management web site, anything about the DSL connection under ADVANCED >
ADVANCED Home : Internet Port : Show Statistics.
> [...] what all credentials I need [...]
Presumably, for a PPPoA or PPPoE connection, there'd be a user name
and password (same as on the Actiontec C1900A, I'd guess). CenturyLink
could tell you those, and whether you use PPPoA or PPPoE.
Many Netgear models/firmware versions mishandle special characters in
those credentials, so if yours include funny characters (funnier than
"@"), then that could explain an authentication failure. But if the DSL
physical link is bad, then authentication is not your biggest problem.

If that means some Netgear-supplied app, running on some
(unspecified) computer/device or other, then I'd stick with a web
browser. As above, "nothing" is not a useful problem description.

Re: Netgear D6400 Modem/Router connect but no internet (Centurylink)
I have the 25mbps and it's bonding when I had the c1900a actiontec modem from CenturyLink. I have tried using the advance setup options still came to the same conclusion connected but no internet.

Prepare for disappointment.
I have no idea what happens if you connect a (single-line) Netgear
Dxxxx to a bonded line (pair). The obvious outcomes would be 1) No
service, or 2) half-speed service. Outcome 1 would not amaze me.
(Might depend of which of the two DSL lines to which the Dxxxx gets
connected.) Either way, I'd be unhappy.
Time to search Ebay for a DSL gizmo which is known-compatible with
CenturyLink bonded service?

On the bright side, a D6400 should be usable as a router (with some
other modem), or as a wireless access point (with some other router).
