Netgear D7800 internet connection problem
Hi,
I have a strange problem that has just started today, up to then the router had been working perfectly. I have the Netgear40-5G network that is connecting fine to the internet with an IP address of 192.168.1.10 using DHCP (subnet is 255.255.255.0 and router 192.168.1.1) but the Netgear40 seems to be self assigning itself an IP address along the lines of 169.254.84.242 and subnet of 255.255.0.0.
I've tried restarting the router & turning it off and on again and configuring with a manual address but nothing has worked- is this likeley to be a problem with the router or my ISP? I'm on fibre broadband in the UK.
Oh and I haven't updated the firmware - on V1.0.1.16
TIA
