I am trying to change my DNS addresses. I input the address I want to use, and it hit apply. It then asks me to resign in - I sign in with the same information I used to do so originally. It does not work. I signed in with admin and the wifi network password, that did not work either. 

Can someone please help?

What Netgear hardware are we talking about here?

Sign into what? The wifi network password gets you on to the wifi, through the default SSID. The access to the browser graphical user interface is something else.
