Nighthawk x8 d8500, vdsl sync rate drop
Hi,
The modem connects at 97Mb/38Mb to my service provider at the beginning. However, after a few hours, the sync-rate drops to 58Mb. I would then need to disconnect and reconnect the RJ11 cable for it to sync again at 97Mb and for the speed to go back up to 87Mb. I've tried reseting the modem to the factory defaults and reconfiguring it, but the connection at the higher sync rate is not stable. It drops after a few hours.
V1.0.3.39_1.0.1 - is the firmware revision of the modem.
Any ideas on what I can do?

I have found a hardware design flaw in the D8500 related to the dropouts and is %100 reproducable looking from top down press your finger one inch down and across from the top right corner and you can make it disconnect at will it my third modem and they all do it environmental changes in temperature will also do it too
This model should be recalled and the flaw corrected
