No DSL Light
Just purchased a D7000v2 & DSL light refuses to light up therefore stalling setup.Not the lines as the old N300 modem is working just fine.Have tried all trouble shooting ideas with no success.
Is this thing cactus??

No action at all on the DSL light?
How about the power LED?
Tried a different cable? DSL filter?
Nothing else between the modem and the phone socket?
For something new, probably best throw back at the supplier.
You could always check to see if a factory reset and/or a firmware update would help.

At a total loss, all cables ok as old modem works just fine,did a reset & no DSL.
Plug old modem in & away she goes

I'm having the problem. Today I contacted Netgear support only to recieve a message informing me to phone 0344 875 4000 and quote the case number which they did not supply, also informing me that the case will close if I don't contact them within 24 hours, but without a code you cannot get any further than an automated reply system. It's a kind of catch 22 system
