Router disconnects from internet duringWindows download

Issue is interesting

Earlier when I download torrents , the internet connection would disconnect. I initially thought that my ISP didnt like what I was doing and they were doing etc.Router had to be restarted manually for it work again.

Anyway now , the router disconnects whenever windows update download starts.If I stop windows download and restart the router internet is back to normal. I cant explain and notice that people have reported this in past but were not answered.

Hope to get some useful information.

Hi DarrenM,

Thanks ,I reduced the MTU to 1400 and it works fine now.
