Very hard to tell without some details.
If you have a wifi client, a mobile phone say, you just turn it on and tell it to connect to the wifi.
The phone will look for the SSIDs and show them to you.
If you have a Netgear device and you want to know what default SSID it uses, look at the label on the thing.
Manuals are always a good place to start.
