UDP port 500 not working on D7000

Hi,

I hope someone can help me with my issue. I currently use the D7000 router/modem and I know we have had a lot of firmware issues with it lately but I am struggling to forward port udp 500. I need to forward this port to my xbox one for xbox live but every time I try it throws up an error saying its used elsewhere.

Before I ditch this router is there anything I can do. I dont want to use UPnP and I certainly dont want to put the xbox into a DMZ.

Have you updated to the latest firmware? and do you have this port already in the port forwarding being used for something else?

Yep got the latest firmware. I am not using this port for anything else but read that port is used by IPSec or something.

Have you turned off UPnP, rebooted the router and then tried the port forwarding?
