Re: firmware updates
What response are you getting?
What FW is currently loaded?
Be sure to unpack the .zip file before uploading the actual FW.img file seen.
Try MS Edge or Firefox browsers.
Factory reset the router then setup from scratch then try to update manually:

Re: firmware updates
forcing a firmware that isn't for that version of router will cause issues (if you can even get it to install).
Make sure you're installing the one for your version.

I wasn't able to load any of the updates when I tried to do so . So I left it as it was using the auto updates feature. But I still couldn't get it to stop crashing.
couldn't get what to stop crashing ?
the auto-update?
The router? If the router, what is all going on? Details help more than "crashing"

Re: firmware updates
does everything drop? Just wireless devices? Or wired too?
Is the unit rebooting? (light shut off and it boots backup)
do device say, connected, no internet? Does the wifi itself stop broadcasting?
