i have a netgear AC1750 modem/router. i wish to connect another computer with it via ethernet cable
i have a AC1750 AND I WANT TO CONNECT an ethernet cable to the back ports and run it to my garage desk top PC .
i have run the cable and both ends are connected with the ports lighting up but no internet connection between the network and my garage computer.
any help would be appreciated.
btw the netgear software doesnt show my garage pc on the network.

AC1750 is a communication standard, not a model number for Netgear. It makes several AC1750 devices.
How long is the link to the garage?
Have you confirmed that the LAN works in the house nearer to the router?
I ask because I assume that there is a modem somewhere in the picture. You may have to check that the configure is correct for everything on the network.
