increased speed of internet can't access D6400
help. I recently upgraded my speed with internet provider but I can't seem to get access through modem. Centurylink says I need to updated modem? how do I do this?

You may need to get the D6400 to forget its old settings and reconfigure it from scratch.
But what does this mean?

Can you get at the modem/router's browser interface? If so, there may be a factory reset option here (my D6400 is now in modem only mode and I can't get into it to check):
ADVANCED > Administration > Backup Settings
The easiest option is probably to use the reset "button" on the back the D6400.
There is a manual for the device somewhere at the end of this link:

Do that and you may be able to use the setup wizard to connect you to your ISP.
