5G has stopped working on N600 wireless dual band router (DGND3700v2)

Have been internet connectivity issues and I'm unable to connnect any devices to 5G. 5G light on router is blinking blue so I assume there's a problem. Have tried turning off and on. Also tried to update firmware via NetGear Genie but get an error message. Could someone please tell me how to troubleshoot this?

Hello debhuntley 

You could try to factory reset the device by holding the reset button for 10 seconds then setup the router again and see if the 5g starts working again.
