Re: AC1200 R6220 internet signal disconects
What are we talking about here? Your subject says R6220. But the footer says D6100.
One is a router. The other is a modem router.
If it is a modem/router, what does the DSL light look like when this happens?
There is a manual for the D6100 somewhere at the end of this link:

Re: AC1200 R6220 internet signal disconects
More on that stuff here:
General WiFi Routers (Non-Nighthawk) - NETGEAR Communities
I assume that "internet signal disconnects" means the wifi goes off. What do the LEDs on the router look like when this happens?
What firmware version do you have on the device?
A number is more useful than "the latest". (It may not be by the time people read this.) There can also be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.
It might also help if you told people what the modem is in front of this router, if there is one. The model number could be useful. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back and its own wifi?
There is support for the R6220, including a manual, somewhere at the end of this link:
