Can not turn on D6400

I can't turn on my D6400 router. It was working OK, then I lost connection suddenly. When I check it, I found D6400 was off. The power supply is good, but I can't turn the router on again. Is it possible to fix it? Thanks in advance.

Sorry, but this does not explain much.

What are you doing and what happens?

You pressed the switch on the back? And then what happens?

How did you confirm this? Do you have a spare you can try?

Re: Can not turn on D6400

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your reply. Sorry I didn't make myself clear. The story is: I was playing online game, but lost the connection suddenly, so I went downstairs to check my router and I found all the lights in front were off, then I turn off the switch on back, unpluged the power cable and plugged again. The red light on back was on, so I presumed the power cable was good. When I turned the swich on, all the lights in front were still not on after waiting for a while. I suspect something is wrong with hardware inside. Hopefully I make myself clear this time, any questions or ideas, please let me know.
Thanks
Yong

Re: Can not turn on D6400

I get it now, but still don't know about the red light on the back. My D6400 has no light on the back. (Just the LEDs on the front.) Nor does the power supply.

Do you have a spare supply you can try?

Re: Can not turn on D6400

probably because of my bad memory, could be the power cable from another router with red light on it, and I used it to rule out the cable problem. I will double check again when I get home, but I don't think it's power cable problem.
Do you think it's fixable if it was not power cable fault?
Thanks

That might cost more than the price of a replacement.

If no lights are showing, the power supply is the most likely suspect.

Re: Can not turn on D6400

Hi Michael,
I just confirmed it's not power supply fault.
I think I'm just not lucky to get this product, I will look for another one from other vendors.
Thanks for your help
