Cannot connect to routers wifi

Hello,

im having difficulty as i have just connected my nighthawk to my modem.  My PC and mobile device have connected to the wifi network (dd-wrt) however when i try to log into genie to manage the router it does not find it or allow me to log in???

I bought it second hand. When i search for the wifi it shows dd-wrt so im quessing it does

Did you factory reset? Any second hand modem is likely to have changes to things like passwords and SSIDs. Get it back to the defaults and start from scratch.
