Cant register my router to the readyCLOUD account
Hi,
I have just registered an account with MyNetgear in order to use the ReadCLOUD feature. My username is my e-mail address and I have received an e-mail to confirm this.
I tried to register my modem/router Nighthawk X4S D7800 (running latest Firmware: V1.0.1.16) several times but it keeps failing. This is really doing my head in. I looked on the community and seems like a lot of people have the same problem but there is no clear answer anywhere!
Below is a screenshot of the message I am getting everytime I try to log in:

Re: Cant register my router to the readyCLOUD account
Thank for moving my post to the right forum.
Do you by any chance have an answer to my question? I have tried everything including restoring my modem/router to factory setting to no avail. I am really frustrated!

Re: Cant register my router to the readyCLOUD account
Where did you read that the D7800 supports ReadyCloud?
The data sheet does not mention this:
The manual is also silent on the subject.
Remember, ReadyShare and ReadyCloud are not the same thing.
I ask partly because I am looking for a ReadyCloud device and there seems to be some confusion as to which do and don't support this.

Re: Cant register my router to the readyCLOUD account
Hi,
It clears states it on the product information webpage: http://www.netgear.co.uk/home/products/networking/dsl-modems-routers/D7800.aspx?cid=wmt_netgear_orga...
It is also advertised on the readyCLOD webpage too (https://readycloud.netgear.com/client/en/what-is-readycloud.html). It clearly states that if you have a Nighthawk device with a USB attached, you should be able to use readyCLOUD.
Also, when you log in into the setup/admin page, the feature is available in the readyshare menu.

Re: Cant register my router to the readyCLOUD account
I wonder why the manual does not mention it.
Looks like a known issue:
ReadyCLOUD login from D7800 - NETGEAR Communities
Think I'll wait.

Re: Cant register my router to the readyCLOUD account
Yes, and to what end?
I note that there is still no reply to this issue.
I also note that this is a known issue and that tantamount to a clearly stated ReadyCloud facility available with this unit, there is none. Nobody seems to be able to invoke the ReadyCloud access feature allegedly availabe with this router.
In England that is called Misrepresentation of Goods and is a felony.
So what are you knaves going to do about it?

Re: Cant register my router to the readyCLOUD account
Hi Hippus,
I have the same problem and am really frustrated. I have been trying to sort it with the Netgear support team. Check this forum out for an update on where things are:
