Connect a 4G LTE to a N750 WNDR4300 as a backup modem
I would like to create a failover using a 4G LTE modem to my existing N750 WNDR4300 for DSL outages. I need an automatic switch over so if I am away on business, and the DSL drops, my IP modules would still function. I have a 16 port netgear router attached to the 4300 and everything is on a UPS. Any ideas?

Hi Mike744,
WNDR4300 does not support WAN failover since it has single WAN port.

Re: Connect a 4G LTE to a N750 WNDR4300 as a backup modem
Thanks for the reply. Sorry if I did not phrase my question very well. I knew the 4300 supports only one WAN so I would like to know if Netgear still has a dual WAN router or something I can use to create a failover with the two modems. I know they were discontinued at least a year ago. I have found other dual WAN VPM routers but I wanted to stay with netgear.

We have ProSAFE FVS336Gv3 but the unit is already EoL.

Thanks, I saw that one. Too bad it is EOL. Thanks you for the information.
