Connected, no internet

hi i just took out my old net gear wi fi router................tried to put in the new netgear listed above connected all the cords.........but now lost my internet..........so i put my old net gear back in and the internet comes up..........what am i doing wrong from switching the old to the new?? any configurations needed??

   Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation.  Get the User Manual.  Read.

   Not a very detailed description of anything, but the DSL settings
from the old one may help as a guide to the DSL settings for the new
one.
