I have a basic netgear D2200D router/modem from Frontier Communications but want to use a Nighthasw R800P router as my main modem. I have to keep the Frontier D2200 modem but want to set it in Bridge mode to act as a modem only and have my Nighthawk be the router modem.
I have put the D2200 into bridge mode and connected a cat6 cable to the Internet port on the nighthawk but I don't get any internet connection. I turned the WIFI radio signal off and the firewall off on the D2200.
What can I do to get this working? Thanks for any help you can offer!
