D6000 issue

D6000 issue
Over the last 2 weeks my internet speed has gotten worse and worse until finally it stopped working completely. I rang my service provider who said that they have had a lot of calls regarding this particular modem and that it was an Netgear issue and that they are aware of it and trying to fix the issue. I have tried turning it on and off also resetting it, all the lights are on and my devices telll me that the connection is working but still nothing. Am I the only person having this issue?

Does that mean "factory reset"?
Have you checked to see if you have the latest firmware for the modem?
