D6100 Essention edition ac1200 can't connect wifi for some android devices with MAC 9XXXX...

Hi,

I have a netgear D6100 Essention edition  ac1200 DSL modem router.  I found that some of the android devices (such as tablet and TV boxes) especially the non branded one with the MAC 9X:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX cannot authenticate the the WPA2. These devices try repeatly connect but not successful (the network key is correct). There is no ACCESS CONTROL enabled in the modem. Also if the security is set to NONE, they can connect without any problem. These devices can connect to other modem routers such as ASUS DSL-N55N with WPA2 security without problem. How to fix it? Is there any way to further check the cause of it?  Thank you very much.

What is WLC_SET_KEY error (-8) and wl_cfg80211_get_station : NOT assoc? How to fix it? These won't happen if I use another adsl2+ modem router. Also the lates firmware is installed in the D6100.

I know you said you have connected these devices to other networks or routers did any of them have the same SSID as the one you are trying to connect to now? If so have you told the devices to forget the network and try to connect agian?

Same SSID, same key, same configuration. Yes everytime I forget or delete the network from the android devices before connection. Still can't connect and have the error message.

What is WLC_SET_KEY error (-8) and  cfg80211: Calling CRDA to update world regulatory domain? The other modems/router won't casuse this error.

I can telnet to the netgear d6100 but I can't dmesg the log. Is there anyway to check the wireless authentication log or error in the telnet console? Thanks

We found out is the firmware. The latest version 1.0.0.50 doesn't  work but the lower version 1.0.0.46 works. Netgear please fix it. Thx

Did you reset the device to factory defaults after applying the new firmware?

This isn't always necessary but it is the first thing to try if you experience any problems with new firmware.

Definite Yes. After firmware update, I factory reset it and just set the 2.5G SSID for testing. The latest firmware 1.0.0.50 definite has wireless authentication problem. Netgear please fix it. Thx
