D6200 and IP Multicast
I've recently purchased a wifi speaker that uses the IP multicast technology for the speaker's companion app to discover and connect to the speaker.
I've tried everything but cannot get it to work on my NETGEAR AC1200 WiFi DSL Modem Router 802.11ac Dual Band Gigabit (D6200)
Here is what I've done:
- updated to latest firmware
- made sure UPnP was activated
- tried the device on another wifi network => worked perfectly
- I can see the device in my network map
- reset my router to factory defaults
None of this worked. The speaker manufacturer support told me it was probably an issue with IP Multicast. Does anyone have a clue how to solve that?
Thanks!

Hello frankys
You may want to look at the RIP settings page 51 and 52

Re: D6200 and IP Multicast
HI Daren,
Thanks for your answer! I did try both RIP-1 and RIP-2 to no avail. Anything else I can try?
