Did you try a factory reset after you installed the new firmware? (See above.)
Some people find that this fixes problems they have after a firmware flash.

Re: D6300 firmware upgrade problem
Windows and Macs handle zip files without any need for utilities.
I assume you got the firmware from here:

Re: D6300 firmware upgrade problem
I have just received the UPDATE warning, so diligently UPDATED to v1.0.0.102_1.0.102.
It has TOTALLY stuffed up my wireless printing (Samsung M288).
The printer message is "Unable to find wireless connection". I now have 4 PC's on the Homegroup that cannot print.
Wireless Settings are: 2.4GHz
Enable Wireless Isolation - OFF
Enable SSID Broadcats - NETGEAR11
Name SSID - AUTO
Mode - Upto 300Mbs
Security - WP2-PSK (AES)
I really would appreciate any help on this problem.
Thanks

Re: D6300 firmware upgrade problem
Further to todays post @ 10:29am: Re: D6300 firmware upgrade problem.
The ENTIRE wireless network is down, both frequencies (2.4 and 5 MHz)
The LG smart TV, Samsung PVR and WD player all rely on the wireless network to function.
They are no longer able to connect wirelessly to the router.
If there is Netgear Tech reading this post PLEASE take this issue as a SERIOUS PROBLEM.

Re: D6300 firmware upgrade problem
Did you reset the router to factory settings after the firmware flash?
New firmware sometimes introduces changes that are not compatible with the old configuration.
So a factory reset is the first thing to try if you have problems with new firmware.
Backup your configuration first. Netgear does not advises restoring old settings into new firmware, but if resetting does not fix your problem, and you have complicated settings, you might want to restore them.

Re: D6300 firmware upgrade problem
The latest firmware update D6300-V1.0.0.102_1.0.102 has made very unstable my wifi connection with a Surface pro 3 (Wifi break, streaming impossible, windows 10 freeze ...)
Only the return to the previous firmware D6300-V1. 0.0.96_1.1.96 solved the problem.
