D6300 to BT Fibre Broadband

Has anyone found a separate modem that works to connect a D6300 to BT Fibre please. I have had my D6300 for a long time and I have not had anything to complain about. It is so reliable and more to the point I have mastered how to use it and cannot see why I would want to replace it if a stand alone modem via the WAN port would solve the problem. Thanks

What's the actual model number? Look at the product label. Firmware
version?
It might help if you would reveal exactly what sort of termination
device BT gave you with your new "Fibre" service. Does it give you an
Ethernet port, or what? (Is there actually some kind of modem
involved?)
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in a your model number, and
look for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Read? (I didn't see much
there.)

Re: D6300 to BT Fibre Broadband
Firmware V1.0.0.102_1.0.102
It is currently connected via phone socket. I have not yet accepted the upgrade to fibre as I wanted to check out the modem requirement as my model D6300 does not have VDSL apparently it came with the next model released by Netgear. BT want to provide a Home Hub but I do not want to use it and wish to remain with Netgear. I have read the user manual and been on the Netgear site but I assume VDSL is not mentioned in my manual as the Modem?Router I have was only intended at that time for Standard Broadband. Netgear only suggests contacting the Community for every question.
Thanks for replying but dont worry if you cant help.
Regards
