D7000 Adsl stops broadcasting WiFi
I live in uk so router is vdsl adsl no separate modem.
After about a day the WiFi stops broadcasting. I tried splitting the 2/5 and disabling guest but it stops and a reboot brings it back up again.
Has anyone see this before and has a long term fix then rebooting the router every day?

Is this a new device? What version firmware, give version number please? Is it a v1 or v2 device? I believe this has been reported by other users of this device.

Still wondering.
[...] D7000-200UKS
As its product label should say, that's a D7000v2. Firmware version?

Determined how, exactly? Both 2.4GHz and 5GHz?
Providing no useful information in a more appropriate place is not a
big improvement.

It’s stops broadcasting as you can not see the ssid from any device. Both 2/5 and guest .

There is newer firmware available for the D7000v2 here
https://www.netgear.com/support/product/D7000v2.aspx#download
If that doesn't fix it, I'd consider returning it for a different brand device.

Or, more generally, Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your
model number, and look for Downloads. (For older versions, under
Firmware and Software Downloads, look for "View Previous Versions".)
Find the kit(s). Download the kit(s) you want. Read the "Release
Notes" file for instructions.
But I might not expect much from V1.0.0.53:

Re: D7000 Adsl stops broadcasting WiFi
Ok so I upgraded the firmware and still and issue. I unplugged everything else but after about a day it needs rebooted.
I was using a BTHomeHub6 and on saturday I went back to it as I wanted to watch the Rugby and didnt want anything to mess it up.
Its a bit annoying spening 150 odd quid for a lemon! My firend has the non ADSL version and likes his so thought it would be a good purchase.
At this rate I am thinking of RMA'ing it and trying a good onld trusty Draytek.

I'd go with the RMA option since you've tried other remedies. I don't believe Netgear will provide any additional support for that version device.

Re: D7000 Adsl stops broadcasting WiFi
Now after a half a day (and to be honest not much use) the 5ghz signal will disappear and when you try to connect to the 2.4 it just keeps asking for a password and saying t is wrong when it’s not.
Again a reboot sorts it.
