D7000 cuts cable modem speed from 540 to 220Mb/s - Fixed: Disable Traffic Meter
Recently I upgraded my cable connection to 500Mb/s with Xfinity, but all the speed tests gave me something about 210Mb/s.
My PC is LAN connected to the D700 and the router is LAN connected to the cable modem Arris sb6190.
I have disconnected the Router and connected the PC directly to the Modem and... my speed was 530Mb/s
This proved the issue was in the D700
I tried the following to make it running faster
1) Enabling QoS - no result. Set to disable
2) Disabling Access Control - No result. Set to Enable
3) Disable Traffic Meter - WORKS - Speed improved from 210Mb/s to 540Mb/s
I hope this helps someone with my same issue 😉
Hardware Version D7000
Firmware Version V1.0.1.74_1.0.1
GUI Language Version V1.0.1.67

That's an oldie but goodie. Anything that asks the device's processor to break into a sweat can slow things down.
