D7000 nighthawk AC1900

I have a Netgear D7000 dual core modem/router. Yesterday I increased the speed of my internet to 25mbps through my internet provider. They said I needed to have a dual band router. Once they made changes outside, I’m no longer able to connect to the internet. Can someone help me?

Any clues as to which?  Any details on the actual DSL service?

No, what did they _really_ say?  If something like "bonded" was in
there, then you'll need a different modem.

The D7000[vX] might still be usable as a router, but you might find
that your bonded-capable DSL modem will include a router.

Your (secret?) ISP might have some suggestions.

   Not relevant.

> [...] dual band [...]

Describes the wireless-network capability.  Not related to the DSL
interface.

Plenty of dual's there, just not the right one.

You are correct. I typed incorrectly. It is dual bonded. What do you suggest I should purchase?

No idea.  I have older/slower ADSL, where my D7000[v1] still works
(about as well as it ever did).  But, if I were in your situation, then
I'd visit my ISP's web site, and see which devices they support.  In my
case that might be:

https://www.centurylink.com/home/help/internet/modems-and-routers/what-modems-are-compatible-with-ce...

(Where the word "Bonded" is conspicuous.)

Once I'd found some attractive models, I'd probably search at Ebay
for an incredible bargain on a suitable unit.

If I were in a hurry, because my service was now down, then I might
investigate renting a supported device from my ISP until I could find an
incredible bargain on Ebay.  Or, if I had been a long-term customer of
my ISP, then I might try to negotiate a free one.  In some cases, a good
story, or a threat to cancel the service, can lead to a "customer
loyalty representative" who has amazing powers at her/his discretion.

Netgear does not make modems that support "bonded" DSL.

Bonded DSL? - NETGEAR Communities

What is VDSL Bonding? | Answer | NETGEAR Support

Old, but no updates, or even much in the way of new modems since then.

So this isn't the best place to seek suggestions.

The best source of advice should be your ISP.
