D7000 v2 wont see Fibre connection

The old D7000 v1 had a separate Ethernet DSL port which saw and connected to my Fibre connection in the Openroach box on the wall. The v2 doesnt have that port and now need to use LAN port 4. However port 4 does not see the internet connection exists and so won't connect to my ISP. I have also tried a 3rd party modem\router and that also see the internet connection (that modem\router also had a separate ethernet DSL port). Ay suggestions as to why Port 4 wont see the connection?

That is the WAN port. The V1 and V2 variants of the  D7000 both support this.

Did you read the section in the manual Change the Physical WAN Connection Preference?

That is the WAN port. The V1 and V2 variants of the  D7000 both support this.
